The Young Scientist Forum (YSF) was initiated by FEBS in 2001 to provide PhD students and young postdoctoral fellows of the FEBS Constituent Society with opportunities to meet, make friends as well as to discuss scientific affairs and career development in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Preceding the annual FEBS Congress, the YSF is traditionally organized by local PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. During the course of years, the YSF has now developed from a satellite meeting into a real hallmark of the Annual FEBS Congress.

PhD students and post doctoral fellows are welcome to apply for the meeting. Over 100 young scientists will be selected. The accepted applicants will be covered by a grant for the YSF meeting as well as for the accommodation and the conference fee at the FEBS Congress 2011. Travel grants are also included.

The YSF2011 Organizing Committee is looking forward to receiving your application and to welcoming you in Torino.
